Obituary of Darcie Fanjoy

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Darcie Leigh Fanjoy of Keswick, NB, surrounded by her family at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 24, 2017. She was born to the late Aubrey Price and survived by her mother, Shirley (Harris) Price of Caverhill, NB, and loving husband, Philip “Tiny” Fanjoy of Keswick, NB. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Brandi. Darcie was employed at the York Manor for 19 years where she made many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds, caring for her flower gardens and a good game of Bingo as long as the caller wasn’t too fast. Darcie was witty, a wonderful mentor to any of her nieces and nephews that needed her. She was predeceased by her father, Aubrey Price; mother and father in law, Elva and Murray Fanjoy; sister, Wendy Price; nephew, Troy Price; special aunt Eleanor Harris; brothers in law, Eric and Donnie Fanjoy. Darcie is also survived by her sisters, Jackie Grant (Wayne), Tammy Thebeau (Harvey), Jennie McPhail (Brian); brothers, Tony Price and Jamie Price; in laws, Lillian Dunfield (Bob) of Nova Scotia, Elsie MacDonald (Dave) of Ontario, Gerald Fanjoy of Moncton, NB and Terry Fanjoy (Wesla) of Havelock, NB. Darcie was also survived and loved dearly by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2-5 pm.
