Obituary of Leith Hunter

Life Legacy The passing of Leith Robert Hunter of Astle, NB, husband of Edwina (Munn) Hunter, occurred on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 4, 1933 he was the son of the late Leith and Vesta (Green) Hunter. Leith was a retired Carpenter for Ivan Pond Construction. In addition to his wife, Leith is survived by his daughters, Merva Price (Terry) of Boiestown, NB and Starla MacLellan (Kevin) of Parker Ridge, NB; sons, Duane Hunter (Kim) of Astle, NB and Corey Hunter (Carole) of Astle, NB; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, , Merle Hunter (Emily) of Astle, NB, Vincent Hunter of Oromocto, NB, and Winston Hunter (Rowena) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Leith was predeceased by his sister, Elma Martin; sister-in-law, Bertha Hunter. There will be an open Graveside Service at the Astle Community Cemetery on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2pm. Following the service, there will be a gathering at the Astle recreation Centre.
