Obituary of Constance O’Donnell

It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Constance (Connie) Nora O’Donnell, who passed away with her family at her side at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, August 4, 2017. Connie was born on November 20, 1939 to the late John (Jack) and Nellie Storey. Connie was a proud member of the Anglican Church and the McNamee Womens’ Institute. She loved to golf in the summer and curl in the winter. Connie also had a passion for baking with her delicious goods being enjoyed by her family or donated to charity. Her passion for gardening is on full display at her home in New Bandon. Connie is survived by her loving husband Herman O’Donnell; son, Timothy O’Donnell; daughter, Carolyn Wilson (Mark); grandchildren, Patrick Wilson (Leah), Joelle Wilson (Jared), and Connor Wilson; sisters, Shirley Amos (Haviland), Greta Munn (the late Harold), Virginia Price (Roderick), Theresa O’Donnell (the late Gary), Valerie Robinson (Arthur), Barb Long (Gary); and brothers, Russell Storey (Lottie), Washburn Storey (Ann), Leonard Storey (Judy), Eugene Storey (Nancy) and Roger Storey (Beth); several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son Daniel (Danny) O’Donnell. Arrangements are under the direction of the Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB with visitation on Sunday, August 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Connie’s life will be held at the Miramichi Valley Chapel on Monday, August 7th at 11 a.m. with Father Neil Osiowy officiating. Interment will follow at the New Bandon Community Cemetery. Donations in Connie’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
