Obituary of Sadie Lyons

The passing of Sadie Frances Lyons, wife of the late Henry George Lyons, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Central NB Nursing Home. Born on June 3, 1926 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Rhoda (Beek) Robinson. Sadie is survived by her daughters, Carol Kanary (Joe) of Glace Bay, NS, Helen Ward of Holtville, NB and Gertrude Lyons of Fredericton, NB; son, George Lyons (Debbie) of Pennfield, NB, ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Elva Vickers of Blackville, NB; sister-in-law, Joyce Robinson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Gracie Langton; brothers, Raymond and Charles Robinson; sister-in-law, Betty Robinson; son-in-law, Lee Ward. Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the Miramichi Valley Chapel on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul McGrattan officiating. Interment will take place at Cameron Hill Cemetery.
