Obituary of Larry Porter

The passing of Larry Joseph Camille Porter of Doaktown, NB, husband of Aleta (LeBel) Porter occurred on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 1, 1951 in Plaster Rock, NB he was the son of the late Graydon and Eloise (Aucoin) Porter. Larry was a fishing guide for Hersey’s Salmon Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his daughter, Stacey of Doaktown, NB; son in law, Jodie; son, Warren (Jennifer) of Doaktown, NB; grandchildren, Tyler, Tyson, Kieran and Carter; sister, Sally McCarthy of Woodstock, NB; brothers, Sam Porter (Nancy) of Fredericton, NB, Danny Porter (Lori) of Plaster Rock, NB and Dennis Porter (Denise) of Woodstock, NB; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 12- 3 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 3 pm with Father Neil Osiowy officiating.
