Obituary of Edna Andrews

The passing of Edna Elizabeth Andrews of Fredericton, NB, wife of Robert Andrews occurred on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 3, 1940 in Kingston Parish, NB she was the daughter of the late James A. and Stella (Post) Durnnian. She was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church and the UCW. Edna enjoyed embroidery and making Christmas decorations. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Barry (Martha), Neil (Carolyn) and Jason (Victoria) Andrews; grandchildren, Jacob (Samantha), Benjamin, Emily, Megan, Liam, Jack and Sara; brother, Stanley Durnnian (Paulette); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant brother, Wilmot; brother, Earl and uncle, Irvine Durnnian. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. J. D. Kennedy officiating. A Private Family Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery at a later date.
