My sympathies to the Gillen family. So glad that Lisa and I had a visit with Bill last week. He was still as witty as ever and we shared some laughs. Rest in Peace Bill.

My sympathies to the Gillen family, Bill was my first boss here at St. John Ambulance, he was always kind and always had a joke to tell and my goodness the cartoons he would draw always made us laugh. Bill was Invested in the Order of St. John in 1981 and was promoted to Officer in 1987. Bill retired from SJA in 1990 as the Director of Training and was missed by all the staff. Sheila Moore and I visited Bill last Wednesday in hospital, we are so glad we did. During our visit, Bill was very witty and still making us laugh. When Bill would call he'd always greet me & say "Hi there Murph". Thinking of you with fond memories Bill, RIP.
