Obituary of Jeanne McBride

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne Theresa McBride. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ronald; her children, Bill McBride (Cindy), Jerry McBride (Kathy), Rosemary Grandy (Bruce), Roxanne Clark (Kevin), Ronda Spencer (Tim), Tina Kilfillen and Lisa McBride; siblings, Joyce Casey, Bud McHugh (Ann), Francis McHugh (Carey Ryan), Janet Dempsey (Galen) and Joanne Knorr (Frank). She was predeceased by her special brother, James McHugh, who Jeanne cared for over 35 years; her father, Clarence McHugh and mother, Pearle McHugh. The family wish to express their most sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at the DECRH in ICU, Cardiac Care and 4NW for their excellent care. Visitations will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Parish, 1 William Street, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as celbrant. The Interment will take place at St. George’s Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to Special Olympics New Brunswick would be appreciated.
