Obituary of Norman Amos

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Norman “Blair” Amos of Doaktown, NB on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 24, 1932 in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Damietta (Matthews) Amos. Blair worked for many years for Robin Hood Canada in Montreal and Toronto. He settled into the family home in Doaktown, after retirement, where he lived for the last 24 years. Blair is survived by his sister, Mildred Bamford and her children, Gary Bamford (Rose) and Gail Foster; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Doris; brothers, Raymond, Bedford and Ralph; also predeceased by his beloved pet beagle, Morgan. There will be no visitation or service at this time; a private graveside service will take place in St. Thomas United Church Cemetery at a later date.
