Obituary of Bliss Peterson

The passing of Bliss Dawson Peterson of McGivney, NB, husband of Shirley (Crawford) Peterson occurred on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 4, 1944 in McGivney, NB, he was the son of the late James and Fern (Greer) Peterson. Bliss was a Linesman. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #80, Nashwaak Bridge and IBEW Local # 37. In addition to his wife, Bliss is survived by his sister, Eileen Ross (Doug); chosen daughter, Bonny Sullivan; sisters in law, Edna Peterson, Bonnie Bright, Mary Gray, Betty Crawford and Joan Cho (Steve); brothers in law, Willard (Bonny), Roy, Ralph (Gail) and John Crawford; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Claude, Marie, Allen, Eugene, Maisie, Donna, James, Hal and Paulette and recently by his niece, Sherry. A Celebration of Bliss’s Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #80, Nashwaak Bridge on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 3 pm.
