Obituary of Grace Reimer

Life Legacy The passing of Grace Louise Reimer of Douglas, NB, wife of Darel Reimer occurred on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at home. Born on February 4, 1935 in Three Tree Creek, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Christina (MacKinnon) Jones. She was the owner and operator of Grace’s Tailor Shop in the early 70’s. In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her sons, Dale Hamilton (Sharon) of Mactaquac, NB, Bill Hamilton (Mary) of Fredericton, NB and Mike Hamilton of Moose Jaw, SK; grandchildren, Erin Cobham (Nick), Laura MacFadzen (Tyler), Hannah Hamilton, Heather Hamilton, Joe Hamilton (Carolyn), Mackenzie Hamilton (Kendra) and Katie Hamilton; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Isabel Harper of Fredericton, NB and Shirley Estabrooks (Austin) of Waterville, NB; brothers, Don Jones (Claire) of Riverview, NB and Paul Jones (Shirley) of Chilliwack, BC; sister in law, Annie Jones; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Hamilton; sisters, Pearl Pillsworth, Linda Manning and brother, Arthur Jones. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
