Obituary of Nora Currie

Life Legacy The passing of Nora Lillian Currie of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Frank Currie, occurred on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 23, 1935 in Priceville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Frances Price. Nora was a teacher. She was a member of the All Saints Anglican Church, Crocks Point Road, a former secretary of the Anglican Church Women and also a past member of the Nashwaaksis Lionettes. Nora is survived by her siblings, Cynthia Dickinson (Archie) of Saint John, NB, Esther MacDougall (Albert) of Keswick Ridge, NB and Catherine Baldwin (Darrell O'Donnell) of Riley, AB; brothers, Winston Price (Frances Ann) of Doaktown, NB, Blaine Price (Phyllis) of Norton, NB and Monte Price (Annette) of Williamsburg, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sister, Velma LeRoux, two infant sisters and one infant brother. Visitation will take place from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Crocks Point Road, Keswick Ridge, NB on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 2 pm with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in Scotch Settlement Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to All Saint Anglican Church Building Fund, Nashwaak Villa or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
