I met Eugene at York Manor. We immediately became friends & Eugene often came to the piano for residents & would sometimes share the word of God with residents one of there close friends Eva Seeley he would read the word of God to her each time he enteredYork Manor. Eugene was a very caring man and I would see him at Regent Mall with Bible in hand. Many times I entertained them at my home. Eugene will be sadly missed by many & was devoted to his Church.

Was Sad to hear Eugene had passed. He always had a kind word for me. One of my most fondest memories of Eugene was when I was 9 years old and broke my leg. My foot was so sore from being in a cast for months. Eugene sat on the porch with me and massaged my foot and He eased my pain. Thanks so much Eugene. I will always remember Eugene as that down home country guy who is the jack of all trades. You will be missed
