Obituary of Julian Godin

It is with great sadness that the family of Julian Joseph Godin of Fredericton, NB announces his passing on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 11, 1941 in Dalhousie, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Georgina (Hickey) Godin. Julian was an avid outdoorsman, spending many of his working years as a lumberjack. He loved fishing, exploring trails, and simply spending time in the woods or near a lake. In addition to his wife Laureen, he is survived by his son, Eugene Godin (Jennifer Wright) of Fredericton, and his daughter, Daphne Godin (John MacVicar); brothers, Bernard, Ira (Gloria), David (Linda) and Bruce (Shelley), as well as sisters, Diane and Jeanine. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Claude, Clarence and Leonard. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
