Obituary of Violet Wood

The passing of Violet Evelyn Wood of McGivney, NB occurred on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at home. Born on September 2, 1942 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Violet (Woodcock) Fairley. Violet is survived by her children, Lori (Sean), Eddy, Mark (Wanda) and Steve (Kristina); 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild; sister in law, Betty Fairley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by Dorothy, Jim, Wes, Raymond, Monica and John Wood. A Graveside Service will take place in McGivney Cemetery on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2 pm with Pastor Rick Bruce officiating.
