Obituary of Gordon White

The passing of Gordon Hughie White of Fredericton, NB, husband of Ann Marie (Kelly) White occurred on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at home. Born on January 16, 1945 in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Charles “Roy” and Georgina (Smith) White. Gordon was a Veteran of the Canadian Army having served in Germany and Cyprus; he worked as a Commissionaire for Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. He was affiliated of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his son, Gordan White (Brenda) of Barrie, ON; grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas and Shantel White; brothers, Wayne White, Doug Gillis and Michael White; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Marsha Boutlier and Elizabeth Kearley. Although there will be no visitation; a Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2 pm with Father Bill Brennan officiating.
