Obituary of Thelma Leeming

The passing of Thelma Geraldene “Deanie” Leeming of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Denys “Dan” Leeming, occurred on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born June 4, 1932 in Plaster Rock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Julia Priest. Deanie was affiliated with Victory Tabernacle Church. Deanie is survived by her daughters, Ev Fowler and Natalie Steen; sons, Everett Fowler (Susan) and Joey Fowler (Vicki); step daughters, Barbara Monteith, Anne Pratt (Murray) and Ruth Adams (Charles); step son, Bill Leeming (Shirley); grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister, Norma Trewin; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Deanie was predeceased by her son, Nathan Fowler; son in law, Wayne Steen; step son in law, Charles Monteith; she was also predeceased by six sisters and three brothers. Family and friends will gather at Victory Tabernacle Church, 8 Independence Drive (corner of Killarney Road) on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 1-2 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Rev. Weldon Mutch officiating and Rev. Emily Houle assisting. Interment will take place in the Stone Ridge Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Victory Tabernacle (Youth Group) or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
