Obituary of Lloyd Boyd

Lloyd Vincent Boyd of Fredericton, NB, husband of Charlotte (Allender) Boyd, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, at the age of 80 years old. Born in Chipman, NB, he was the son of the late Herbert and Muriel (Glenn) Boyd. Lloyd had a long career with the Bank of Nova Scotia, the Turf Industry, Investors Group and as an Endowment Officer for the Forever Fund. He generously volunteered his time with Fredericton Therapeutic Riding, Fredericton Food Bank, Chalmers Foundation, Festival of Lights, Fredericton Minor Hockey and the Gibson Memorial United Church. In addition to his wife of 57 years, Charlotte; Lloyd is survived by his children, Steven (Stacy), Jeff (Shelly) and Lora Dawn Angnatok (Joey); grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicholas, Ethan, Emelia and Olivia; great grandchildren, London and Lincoln; sister in law, Carol Boyd; brother in law, Bill Allender (Marsha); many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence Glenn Boyd. A Funeral Service will take place at Gibson Memorial United Church on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11am with Rev. Brian MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Red Bank Cemetery. The family wish to express sincere thanks to Dr. Corey Stevens, the staff of DECRH 3SW and the York Care Foundation.
