Obituary of Geraldine Greer

The passing of Geraldine “Gerri” Elizabeth Greer of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Windsor Court Retirement Residence, Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Charlotte (Fletcher) McConnell. She was a Sales Clerk at Sears Canada for 25 years. Gerri enjoyed walking, bowling, swimming, dancing, singing and cross country skiing. Gerri is survived by her daughters, Shirley Elgee of Rochester, NY, Dawna Greer of Kingston, ON and Lori Greer of Ottawa, ON; three granddaughters; five great grandsons; several nieces; a nephew; great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Bonnie June; son, Paul Ernest; sister, June Greer and brother, Gordon McConnell. As per Gerri’s wishes, there will be no visitation or public services. The family will hold a private graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Windsor Court for all that they did for Gerri.
