Life Legacy The passing of Mary “Marie” Frances Price of Hanwell, NB, wife of the late Allan Price occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 16, 1934 in New Market, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dual and Margaret (Norris) McCann. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Hanwell, NB. Marie loved to garden, enjoyed knitting, quilting and baking. Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda Price-Ellefsen (Eric) of Fredericton, NB and Bonnie MacLeod (Jim) of Douglas, NB; sons, Peter Price (Darlene) of Mazerolle Settlement, NB and Mark Price (Liz) of Maquapit Lake, NB; grandchildren, Sarah Pope (Simon), Monica MacLeod (Chris), Melissa MacLeod (Jeff), Eric Price, Kristen Price and Kyle Price; step-grandchildren, Peter and Andrew Ellefsen; brother, Harold McCann (Margaret) of Fredericton, NB; sisters in law, Eileen Sinnett, Marion Brown, Betty Goodine (Eugene), Audrey Patterson (Mike) and Erma Price; brothers in law, Roger Price (Barb) and George Price (Judy); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her brothers in law, Herbert Price, Lawrence Sinnett, Ronald Brown and David Morton. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 2-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Family Parish, Hanwell, NB on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12 noon with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. A reception will take place at the church following the service. Pallbearers will be Kyle Price, Eric Price, Kristen Price, Eric Ellefsen, Jim MacLeod and Jeff Lidstone. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, New Market, NB at a later date.
