Life Legacy The passing of Faye Gladys (Gallagher) Guptill of Fredericton, NB, wife of Wayne Guptill occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 19, 1928 in Williamsburg, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hartley and Gladys (Gorman) Gallagher. Faye was a retired School Teacher. She was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, the UCW and a past member of the Nashwaak Curling Club; she was also a Life Member of the Women’s Institute. Faye enjoyed knitting, quilting, gardening, and especially liked playing with her great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Faye is survived by her son, Ronald Thomas (Wendy Maher) of Woodlands, NB; grandchildren, Ken Thomas (Vicky) and Shelley Thomas; great grandchildren, Amanda White (Kirk) and Lacee Thomas; great great grandsons, Camden and Elliott White; aunts, Rae and Ina; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Terry and Darrell Thomas; sister, Glenna Dorcas and brother, Ottie Gallagher. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. J. D. Kennedy officiating. Interment will take place in Hillcrest United Church Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
