Obituary of Edward Hall

The passing of Edward “Ted” Kenneth Hall of New Maryland, NB, husband of Lois (McQuinn) Hall occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 9, 1932 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Thaxter) Hall. Ted grew up in Sussex, NB and later moved to Campbellton, NB. After a thirty year career with Lounsbury Industrial, he retired to pursue is love of carpentry. He was an active member of Morning Gate Church, Fredericton, NB. In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by his daughter, Beverley Ann Tims (Greg) of Saint John, NB; son, Laurence Edward Hall of Hanwell, NB; grandchildren, Kyle, Mitchell and Ryan Tims. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Norma Elizabeth Brice (George). Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Morning Gate Church, 74 Morning Gate Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11 am with Pastor Deb MacDonald and Rev. Dr. Brad Little officiating. Interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
