Obituary of Garnet Moran

The passing of Garnet William Moran of Taymouth, NB, husband of the late Cora Nettie (Woodcock) Moran occurred on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at York Care Centre. Born on June 13, 1932 in Zionville, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Hazel (Gallagher) Moran. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator. Garnet enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Garnet is survived by his daughter, Nettie Darlene Stewart (William) of Taymouth, NB; sons, “Tim” Earl Moran (Alida) of Taymouth, NB and Andrew William Moran (Roni-Sue) of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren, Tammy Pitre of Fredericton, NB and Laura Henry (Joe) of Edmonton, AB; great grandchildren, Kennedy Pitre and Kayne Henry; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Nellie, Ruby, Agnus, Mary, Florence, Irene and brother, Arthur. There will be no Visitation or Funeral Service by request of the family. Graveside Prayers and interment will take place in Zionville Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Zionville Community Cemetery.
