Obituary of Marie Estey

Estey, Marie Lynetta “Annette” The passing of Marie Lynetta “Annette” Estey of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Kenneth Estey occurred on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 12, 1933 in Jaquet River, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Gertrude (Asselin) Guitard. She was affiliated with St. Anthony’s Church. Annette worked in housekeeping at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, knitting, crocheting, country music, dances, loved baseball especially her Blue Jays, and most of all loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Annette loved life, and everyone in her life, she was always a friend to all she met in life. Annette is survived by her daughter, Heather (Lou); sons, Donald (Helene) and Gregory (Josselyn); grandchildren, Nicholas (Heather), Deanna, Amanda (Ben), Ryan, Jessica, Daniel (Jennifer) and Nathalie; great grandchildren, Olivia, Kylie, Griffin, Cohl, Chase and Cayden; sisters, Eileen, Victoria, Elizabeth, Cecile, Leona, Monica, Beatrice and Geneva; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by he sisters, Patricia and Evelyn; brothers, Edgar, Delphis, Joseph, Andrew, Gabriel and Robert; her very special friend, Frank Jackson. Visitation will take place at St. Anthony’s Church on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 10:30 am to 12 noon followed by a Memorial Mass at 12 noon with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. Anthony’s Church.
