Obituary of Kenneth Ross

The passing of Kenneth George Ross of Boiestown, NB occurred on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at his residence. Born on February 25, 1937 in Holtville, NB, he was the son of the late Irvine and Nellie (Case) Ross. Kenneth was an active member of Boiestown United Church and also a member of the Landmark Lodge #51, Boiestown, NB and a Past Master, he also belonged to the Fredericton Shriners Club, Luxor Temple and the Fredericton Shriners Fire Brigade. He was a truck driver. Kenneth liked to take place in fundraising events for his community. Kenneth is survived by his children, Carley Ross-Foulkes (Gordon) of Airdrie, AB, Connie Ross-Wheelan (Jim) of Woodstock, NB, Kirk Ross (Murielle) of Bathurst, NB and Katrina Ross of Boiestown, NB; grandchildren, Cody, Julia (Darren), Carey, Teri (Jean Luc), Colin (Khalti), Maȉka, Maëla, Brendan, Derek (Tianne) and Darcy (Julia); great grandchildren, Eitan, Cameron, Gracie, Emily, Autumn, Aurora, Zayden and Olivia; sister, Marie Young of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Wendall Ross of Durham, NB, Floyd Ross (Carol) of Fredericton, NB, Irvine Ross (Shirley) and Merle Ross (Zona) both of Boiestown, NB; sisters in law, Linda Nagle and Jackie Ross; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Kenny was predeceased by wife, Claudette (Munn) Ross; infant sister, Brenda; and bothers, Ellis Ross (Christine), Darold Ross (Peggy), Glen Ross (Yvonne), Gordon, Vaughan and Cassius Ross; brother in law, Robert Young. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon, NB on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6-9 pm. Members of the Landmark Lodge #51 are asked to assemble at 6 pm for a Masonic Tribute Service. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2 pm with Mr. Wally Ellis (DLM) officiating. Interment will take place in the Boiestown United Church Cemetery at a later date.
