Obituary of Mike Dooley

Dooley, Mike Edward The passing of Mike Edward Dooley of Douglas, NB, husband of Stephanie (Otis) Dooley occurred on Monday, February 6, 2017. Born on September 21, 1970 in Halifax, NS, he was the son of Valerie (Cook) VanIderstine and the late Michael Dooley. Mike was employed with Value Village for the past 21 years. He was an avid fisherman and true Montreal Canadians fan. In addition to his wife and mother, Mike is survived by his children, Daniel and Jocleyn Dooley and Michael Benoit; chosen sister, Carol Murley; nephew, Shawn Murley; step sister, Jen Cole and step brother, Michael VanIderstine. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his step father, Wendell VanIderstine. There will be a Celebration of Mike’s Life on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2-4 pm at the Sackville Lions Club, 101 Old Beaver Bank Road, Sackville, NS. Interment will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 1 pm in the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, 153 Town Road, Centre Falmouth, NS with Rev. Gail Whalen-Dunn officiating.
