Obituary of Randall Wood

The passing of Steven Randall “Randy” Wood of Noonan, NB, husband of Monique (Poirier) Wood occurred on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Born on March 27, 1966 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Dawn (Murdock) Wood and the late Arthur Wood. He worked in Infrastructure at DTI. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, dog training, yard sales, collecting antiques; he also loved going “picking”. Above all else, Randy loved spending time with his family. Family was always the most important thing to him. In addition to his wife and mother, Randy is survived by his daughters, Sarah Wood (Ewen MacKenzie) and Danica Wood; sisters, Shelly Symonds (Clint), Brenda Noble (Mark) and Debbie Arbeau (Randy); brothers, John Wood (Ardith), Art Wood (Tammy) and Brian Wood (Claire); several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his nephew, Tyler Wood. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 2-4 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. John Symonds officiating.
