Obituary of Terrance McNeill

McNeill, Terrance “Terry” Franklin The passing of Terrance “Terry” Franklin McNeill of Fredericton, NB, husband of Carolyn (Scott) McNeill occurred on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hospice House. Born on November 23, 1955 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Marion (Valanne) McNeill and the late Ernest McNeill. Terry worked for NB Power as an Electrical Mechanic. He was the Vice President and Shooting Officer of the Minto Gun Club. Terry was a member of the Miramichi Salmon Association, a past member of Nashwaaksis Lions Club and a member of the Men’s Bowling League. Terry was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed his summers on the Miramichi salmon fishing, and in the fall his hunting trips to the camp, snowmobiling and also his motorcycle trips with the boys. He liked his morning meetings at Tim Horton’s; the greatest blessings of his life were his grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, Terry is survived by his sons, Matthew McNeill and Marcus McNeill (Matthew Palmer) all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Abby and Kole McNeill; brothers, Brent McNeill (Janice) of Fredericton, NB, Clinton McNeill (Sue) of Prince George, BC and Laurel McNeill (Anne) of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Marlene Billings (Peter) of Fredericton, NB and Faye Webb (Mike) of Fredericton Junction, NB; sisters in law, Harriett McNeill and Marie McNeill; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brothers, Bryan and Conrad McNeill. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Fredericton Hospice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
