I just learned of Slaws passing. I grew up in Wawa and was in grade 5 when your family came to town. My mother was a teacher Mrs. Florence Melville and no doubt was one of his teachers.
I am so glad he had such a full life. He sure had a tough beginning and deserved nothing but the best
I studied forestry at UNB and spent my working life in Campbellton NB.
Now resde in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia
