Obituary of Norma Ballard

The passing of Norma Grace Ballard of Fredericton, NB occurred on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Fredericton Hospice. Born on November 14, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hedley and Christine (Munn) Ballard. Norma worked as a housekeeper and was an active member of the Victory Tabernacle Church. Norma enjoyed attending church, as it was a big part of her life. She taught Sunday school and loved to read and work on her crossword puzzles. Norma also enjoyed travelling. Norma is survived by her sisters, Mae Ballard, Thelma McArthur (Al), Eloise Ballard, Nancy Thomas (David), and Sandra Price (Slim); brothers, Leonard Ballard (Madeline), James Ballard and Terry Connors; several nieces and nephews. Norma is also survived by her cat, Star. Besides her parents, Norma was predeceased by her brothers, Wendell Ballard and Eugene Ballard. Visitation will take place at Victory Tabernacle Church on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1-2 pm, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Pastor Weldon Mutch officiating.
