Everett Carlisle; son, David Carlisle; sister Anne Hart; brothers-in-law William Thomson and William Hart; sister-in-law Eileen Alison. She is survived by sister, Ray Thomson (Perth, Scotland); brothers James Alison (Quispamsis) and George (Carol) Alison (Sussex Corner); sons Alison (Brenda) Carlisle and Douglas (Dianne) Carlisle; daughter Anne (Ron) Arvidson; daughter-in-law Marilyn Carlisle; grandchildren Katrina Murray, Mary Ellen (Roy) Etheridge, Sheri (Paul) Vidal, Ryan (Krista) Carlisle, Joanna (Troy) Adams, Holly (Mark) Moffitt, Tim Arvidson, Stephen Carlisle, Garth Carlisle, Michael (Candace) Carlisle, Alanna Green and Tara (Pete) Lach; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn worked as a bank teller in Scotland before moving to Canada as a war bride through Pier 21. Her married life centered around her family and farm life in Tripp Settlement. She enjoyed baking for the family and knitting, especially for her grandchildren. She attended Keswick Ridge United Church and was involved in numerous activities including becoming a life Member of the Women’s Institute. She spent several years doing part-time secretarial and bookkeeping work for Royal Feed Mill and Keswick Ridge Apple Co-op. The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the dedicated and caring staff of Nashwaak Villa for their loving care for Evelyn right up to the end. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday December 20, 2016 from 10-11 am followed by a Memorial Service at York Funeral Home’s T.
