Obituary of Kevin Pond

It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Thomas Pond of Durham Bridge and formerly of Doaktown announces his passing on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 21, 1961 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Merlin and Esther (Porter) Pond. Kevin had a long and fulfilling career with NB Power, until health problems resulted in his early retirement. In addition to his parents, Kevin leaves behind his brother Stephen (Fran) of Doaktown, NB, his sister Heather (Allison) O'Donnell of New Bandon, NB and his sister Shelley (Lindsay) Rogers of Freetown, PE. His nieces and nephews Bradley Pond (Selina Sparkes), Ellis Pond, Kyle O'Donnell, Leanne O'Donnell (Billy Dealy), Stewart Rogers (Danielle Bowlan), Shanae Rogers and Sherra Rogers and great nephew Hudson Pond. And his fur babies Conway and Twitty. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins and a very dear friend who was always there for him, Clark Harris. Kevin was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Kevin enjoyed many hobbies that brought him great satisfaction, but by far gained the most enjoyment from fishing the Miramichi and the Cains. The details of a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
