Obituary of Verna Parker

The passing of Verna Mae Parker of Richibucto Road, NB, wife of the late Wayne Parker occurred on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at home. Born on May 10, 1933 in Port Elgin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mennel and Annie (Harrison) Hayward. Verna is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lovean (Allan) and their son, Jeremy; Sandra Lovean (Ron) and their sons, Jonathan and Joshua; and Tanya Parker (Irvin Luce); sisters, Maude McLeod and Marilyn Matheson (Don); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant sister, Madeline and sisters, Brenda and Dorothy. Although there will be no visitation or funeral service; a Graveside Service will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor’s choice.
