Obituary of Edith Wilson

The passing of Edith May Wilson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Harold “Hack” Wilson, occurred on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on December 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Daisy (Wilkins) Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Dunphy (Edward) of Brooklin, ON and Janet Herrington (Christopher) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Rick Dunphy (Joanne), Lori O’Connor (Greg), Patrick Herrington and Dr. Katharine Herrington (Seth Stoddart); great grandchildren, Matthew Dunphy, Taylor and Reilly O’Connor; great-great-grandson, Marlow Dunphy; brothers, Ronald Wilson (Pat), Lewis Wilson (Joan) and Charlie Wilson (Ruth) all of Fredericton, NB, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents Edith was predeceased by sisters, Floris Saunders and Shirley Brooks; brothers, Vance, Leslie and Rodney Wilson. There will be no visitation by request. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
