Obituary of Anne Smith

The passing of Anne Cora (Warren) Smith, loving wife of Kermit Smith, occurred on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 30, 1935 in Green Hill, NB she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Sadie (Merrill) Warren. Anne was a member of Crosspoint Church. She worked for many years as a cashier with the Metropolitan Stores. In addition to her husband, Anne is survived by her cherished son, Kevin Smith (Sherri Lynn) of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Eva Munn of Fredericton, NB and Alida Cripps of London, ON; brother, Dennis Warren (Alma Lou) of New Maryland, NB; sister-in-law, Norma Warren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her brothers, Donald, Raye, Merlin and Vernon Warren; sisters-in-law, Myrna Warren and Dorothy Gillies; brothers-in-law, Dave Cripps, Paul Munn and Paul Smith. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 2-5 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1pm with Rev. Mel Norton officiating. Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.
