Obituary of Ronald Russell

The passing of Ronald “Ronnie” Joseph of Fredericton, NB, husband of Darlene Russell occurred on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 8, 1950 in Chatham Head, NB, he was the son of the late Peter and Harriet (Vautour) Russell. In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Melody Russell (Greg Evans) of Gagetown, NB and Nadine Shaw of Fredericton, NB; son, Kevin Gaudet (Erin) of Calgary, AB; two beautiful granddaughters, Tori and Gracie Shaw, to whom he will be remembered as Papa; sisters, Betty Russell, Tina McCann and Rosemarie Russell; brother, Leo Russell and Babe Russell; sisters in law, Debbie Berryman and Yvonne (Charlie); brother in law, Jack (Susan) Reid; several nieces and nephews, and his fur baby, Izzy. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Muriel Russell, Yvonne Russell and Maggie Tapp; brothers, Eric Russell and Donnie Russell; brother in law, Bob Berryman. There will be a Visitation at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 2-4 pm. There will be no funeral service by request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
