Obituary of Eula Calhoun

The family of Eula Frances Calhoun of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Ralph Calhoun, is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at home. Born on September 9, 1928 in Parker’s Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Florence MacLellan. Eula is survived by her brother, Eugene MacLellan (Carolyn); daughters, Carolyn Lawson (Paul), Margaret Holland and Marilyn Holland (Earl); daughter in law, Linda Calhoun; seven grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Donald Calhoun; as well as her brothers, Hayward and George. Special thanks to Opal Paul, who has been her primary caregiver for the past two years. Thanks also to caregivers, Kim Cleghorn and Joanne Meehan; Dr. Kelsey Cameron and Extramural nurse, Mélisa Jennings, whose support enabled Mum to stay in her home. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Parker’s Ridge Cemetery.
