Obituary of Shirley O'Brien

The passing Shirley Mary O’Brien, wife of the late Barry O’Brien, occurred on October 09, 2016 at her home. Born on October 9, 1948 in Lorne, NB she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Mallaley) Carrier. Shirley enjoyed knitting, reading and colouring. She especially loved spending time with her dog. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Mona Mazerolle of Minto, NB; son, Donald O’Brien (Cathy Kee) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Jeremy Mazerolle (Missy), Natalie Mazerolle (Jordan), Destiny Kee, and Brandon Kee; great grandchildren, Jaden, Jayla and Caelyn; sister, Eva Lyons (Nelson Lavigne); brother Leon Carrier; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was predeceased by her grandson, Justin Mazerolle and several brothers and sisters. A Private Graveside Service will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
