I loved the photo of Dick. A flood of memories. I believe I gave him pause and double-take on many occasions. However with his sense of humour and rock-steady leadership, he guided me through many a self-perceived crisis. He will be missed and admired for a life well lived. My condolences to all the family on this well-deserved remembrance.

My sincere condolences to Elizabeth and all family members. I was Dick Rogers' deputy during his command tour at 403 Squadron and several aspects reflecting the kind of person he was come to mind. Notably:
Strong family values;
Boundless love of Country and the Military;
Great sense of humour;
Love of flying; and
The deep respect with which he treated everyone.
