Obituary of Nerene Hoben

The passing of Nerene (Wallace) Hoben of Royal Road, NB, wife of Bill Hoben, occurred on Friday September 16, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 27, 1940 in Hainesville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Beulah (Billings) Wallace. Nerene worked in the retail industry and was a graduate from Business College. She was a member of the Journey Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, travelling and spending time with friends and family. In addition to her husband Nerene is survived by her son, Michael Hoben (Angela Peterson) of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Heather Hoben, and grandson Taylor Seymour. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday September 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Journey Wesleyan Church on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating. Interment will take place in the Central Hainesville Cemetery. The family wish to extend a special thank you to Rev. Greg Geldart {Minister of Music} of Brunswick Street Baptist Church for all of his hospital visits that were so important and to the Doctors and Nursing staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital 4 South East.
