Obituary of Richard Gullison
The death of Richard Gullison of Williamsburg, NB occurred on September 7, 2016, at his home. Born December 28, 1955 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late Sceanley and Louise (Thomas) Gullison.
Richard is survived by his sons, Rorie and Rhys of Williamsburg along with their mother Tammy; brother, Raymond (Susan) of Stanley; sisters, Paulette Green of Fredericton and Sharon Maxwell (Oscar) of Calgary; grandchildren William, Jacob (mother Lucinda), Zoë; several nephews and nieces; and lifetime friends, especially, Gary Gallagher and Courtenay Northrup. Besides his parents and wife (Katie) he is predeceased by sister, Marylou, and brother-in-law, Paul Green.
Richard enjoyed long trips on his motorcycle and playing guitar with anyone that wanted to play, especially with grandson William. He had just returned from a cross country motorbike trip returning home to Williamsburg from Calgary in August 2016. A Plasterer before becoming a truck driver for the better part of his life delivering oil for home heating as well as diesel for wood's workers and the like, which he did for 17 years before retiring in January 2016.
Visitation will be held September 10, 2016 at 2 pm, at the family home, 1552 Williamsburg Road and the Funeral Service will be on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2 pm, also at the family home.
