Obituary of John Stewart

Stewart, John “Jonny” Edward The sudden passing of John “Jonny” Edward Stewart, husband of Connie (McKay) Stewart of Richibucto Road, NB occurred on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on March 3, 1960 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of Eileen (Somerville) Stewart and the late Roy Stewart. An avid hunter, Jonny was a mechanic by trade and owned his own business on Richibucto Road. In addition to his mother, Eileen and wife, Connie, Jonny is survived by his children, Amanda Stewart (Dyas) and Cory Stewart (Janelle), both of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Trystan, Chelsey, Autumn, Julian, Brady, Raeanna, Abagail, Lila and John; siblings, Candice Stewart (Chris) and Timmy Stewart, both of Fredericton, NB and Roy Stewart (Brittany) of Halifax, NS; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Roy, he was predeceased by a sister, Trina Stewart. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11am with Mr. Dwight McCoy officiating. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
