Obituary of Ronald Bemrose

The passing of Ronald “Ron” Albert Bemrose of Fredericton, NB, husband of Noreen (Black) Bemrose occurred on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 19, 1937 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Jean (Fraser) Bemrose. Ron was a Programs Director for the Federal Government. He enjoyed following the stock market and completing income taxes for others. Ron loved to do handy work and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. He also did volunteer work with Jobs Unlimited on the Board of Directors, Community Living and the Fredericton Police on the Seniors Advisory Committee. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Bemrose and son, Dave Bemrose (Kelli Mills) both of Fredericton, NB; grandchild, Skylar; sister, Marjorie Atkins (Vaughn Dionne) of Montreal, QC; sisters in law, Agnes Stevens (Lawrence), Connie Allen (Joe) both of Miramichi, NB and Irene Dickison of Fredericton, NB; brothers in law, Eldon Black of Boiestown, NB and Audrey Black of Miramichi, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters in law, Sadie Fowler and Leola Gulliver; brothers in law, Manley, Hedley, Laurie and Hugh Black Jr.; close friends and brothers in law, Alex Gulliver and Perley Allison. There will be no visitation or service by Ron’s request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
