Obituary of Cameron Collins

The passing of Cameron Donald Collins of McGivney, NB, occurred on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Born on September 26, 2000 in Whitecourt, AB, he was the son of Trevor and Krissy (Fairley) Collins. He attended Central New Brunswick Academy and would have started in Grade 11 this year. Cameron loved spending time with family and friends; he also enjoyed four wheeling and movies. In addition to his parents, Cameron is survived by his brothers, Dillon Collins (Jamie) and Triston Collins; paternal grandmother, Vicki Collins; maternal grandparents, Sherry Saunders and Joseph Staples; great grandfather, Merlin Storey; niece and nephew, Bentley and Paisley; numerous aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Timmy Collins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Pat McAloon officiating. Interment will take place in McGivney Community Cemetery. The family wish to express a special thank you to Dr. Mark Messenger, Dr. Tanya Wood, Sick Kids Team in Toronto and the nursing staff that have helped Cameron over the years; and also Cyndi Trecartin his social worker (his Angel) for the support and care shown on Cameron’s behalf.
