Obituary of Judith Charters

The passing of Judith Ann Ashley Charters of Fredericton, NB occurred on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on July 10, 1949 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Selina (Mills) Charters. Judith is survived by her daughter, Crystal Claybourn of Fredericton, NB; sons, Mitch Claybourn (Ruth) and John Claybourn (Nancy) both of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Letitia, Mitch, Ashley, Tyrese and Logan; sister, Carol Wade (Dave) of Saint John, NB; brother-in-law, Tom Howes; nieces and nephews, Naomi (Chris), Zach and Jennifer. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Heather Howes. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 4-6 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton Boys and Girls Club.
