Obituary of Placide McIntyre

The passing of Placide Joseph McIntyre of Fredericton, NB, wife of Sandra (Robbins) McIntyre, occurred on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 17, 1957 in Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, he was the son of the late Placide and Rose Anna (Martin) McIntyre. In addition to his wife, Placide is survived by his children, Carl McIntyre, Catherine McIntyre (Bradley), Victor McIntyre; step-daughter, Tammy Gramer (Dave); sisters, Stella Aubry (Gil), Elmire Martin (Max), Marie Chiasson (Rejean), Helen Johnston (Mel), Ola Gibb (Dave), Doris Gray (Rejean); brother, Marvin McIntyre; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends that he cherished, Rodney Arbeau, Gene Hachey and Jack Boulter. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Ambrose and Israel; step father Louis Daigle. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton, NB.
