Obituary of Alyre Ruest

The passing of Alyre Joseph Ruest of Keswick Ridge, NB, husband of Delerose (Corbin) occurred on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 9, 1939 in St. Anne, NB, he was the son of the late Paul and Louise (Desjardins) Ruest. He worked in construction doing drywall. Alyre enjoyed trapping, hunting, and fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Alyre is survived by his children, Kenneth Ruest (Sandy), David Ruest (Kim) and Lynne Ruest (Jerome); grandchildren, Jean, Luc, Sylvie, Jennifer, Brandon, Harley, Alex, Wade and Erin; great grandchildren; one brother; several sisters; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Assumption Parish, Grand Falls, NB on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11 am. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Parkinson Foundation.
