Obituary of Emma Brown

The passing of Emma Brown of Astle, NB, wife of the late A. Murray Brown, occurred on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 28, 1930 in Tracadie, NB, she was the daughter of the late Elisee and Alice (Savoie) St. Pierre. Emma was an active member of the St. Joachim’s Catholic Church for many years; involved with baking, church activities and the choir. Emma is survived by her children, Nancy Pollick (Gary) of Fredericton, NB, Annette Price (Monte) of Williamsburg, NB, Roger Brown (Susan Lyons) of Fredericton, NB, Sheila Barker (Alfred) of Fredericton, NB and Imelda Wilmot (Steven) of Astle, NB; siblings, Irène Jolin, Médard St. Pierre, Domine St. Pierre, Jeanette St. Pierre, Edgar St. Pierre, Gemma Lafond, Rita St. Pierre, Imelda Arsenault, Anna St. Pierre, and Albert St. Pierre; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and chosen family members. Besides her parents and husband, Emma was predeceased by siblings, Aimé St. Pierre, Donat St. Pierre, Albert St. Pierre (infant), Annette St. Pierre and Alice Levesque. Thank you to the Doctors and staff of the palliative care unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for their compassion and wonderful care. At Emma’s request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
