Obituary of Aleitha MacAulay

Life Legacy MacAulay, Aleitha Mary The passing of Aleitha Mary MacAulay of Fredericton, NB, wife of Donald MacAulay, occurred on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with her husband at her side. Born on October 16, 1938 in Tay Creek, NB, she was the daughter of late William and Vera (O’Hara) Reardon. In addition to her husband, Aleitha is survived by her son, Carl MacAulay (Lynn Varabioff) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Kelsey and Landon; several nieces and nephews. Aleitha was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her sister, Annie Hayes; brothers, Willard, Lawrence and Osbourne. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 8 at 1 pm with Fr. Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will take place in Hermitage Cemetery, Fredericton, NB.
