Obituary of Gloria Munn

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our special mother, grandmother and aunt, Gloria Dorothea Munn, at Thomas Hall, Shannex in Fredericton, NB on July 30, 2016. Born in Fredericton to Carl and Hazel Bilensky who predeceased her as well as her beloved husband, Frederick in 1997, son in law, Bill Buxton Sr. in 2011 and recently her grandson, Bill Buxton Jr. 2016; as well as her brothers, infant Ronald, Charles and his wife Eleanor, and Donald; and many brothers and sisters in law of the Munn family. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Nancy Buxton, her great granddaughter Stephanie and husband Shawn from Bangor, Maine, nephew Brian Bilensky and family, special nieces Joan Bilensky and family, Karen Long and family, and Donna Ludford and family; sisters in law, Betty Bilensky, Jean MacKinnon and family; brothers in law, Cedric and Shirley Munn and family; granddaughter in law, Esther Keirstead; many more nieces, nephews and cousins in NB. Mum lived her whole wonderful life in Fredericton enjoying hairdressing, camping, fishing, cards and bingo. She loved all animals but was especially drawn to cats. Her sense of humour was enjoyed by many as she told us true tales of her experiences that we will always cherish. We want to thank so many people in the last few years who touched Mum's life to make her safe and comfortable. As per her request there will be no services and a burial next to her husband will be at a later date. Donations to any animal shelters or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
